Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 29 June 2026  ·  Last updated: 29 June 2026

Using Meridian means you agree to these. Short version: don't abuse it, we're not liable for medical decisions, your data is yours.

Meridian is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Its insights are for self-reflection and general wellbeing only. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or mental-health care. If you have a health concern, always consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

1. Who we are

Meridian is operated by Davide, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("Meridian", "we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@meridianself.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Meridian. By using the service you confirm that you are 18 or over and able to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Your account and the waitlist

Joining the waitlist means giving us your email so we can contact you about access. When accounts open, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Licence to use Meridian

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Meridian for your own personal, non-commercial use, in line with these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Meridian unlawfully or to harm others; upload data you have no right to share; attempt to access other users' data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service; or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend or end access if you break these rules.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content and data you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide and improve the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide.

7. AI-generated insights

Meridian uses AI to generate patterns and reflections from your data. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong, and should be treated as informational only. You are responsible for any decisions you make; see the medical disclaimer above.

8. Our intellectual property

Meridian, its name, design, software, and content (excluding your data) are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any of our IP to you.

9. Availability

Meridian is offered on an "as available" basis, especially during early access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Disclaimers & warranties

Where the law allows, Meridian is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of Meridian. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur as a result of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

13. Termination

You can stop using Meridian and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or where we reasonably need to.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Meridian develops. We'll post the updated version here and change the date above. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
