Help, when you need it
Meridian is in closed beta, which means there is no ticket queue and no bot. You write to us, one of us reads it, and you get a reply. If something on this page does not answer your question, the email address below always will.
Talk to us
Email hello@meridianself.com for anything: a sync that stopped, a pattern that looks wrong, a question about your data, or a feature you wish existed. We aim to answer within two working days.
If you are already in the beta, replying to your welcome email works just as well and saves you finding this page again.
Signing in
Meridian lives at meridianself.com/app. Access is by invitation while we are in beta, so if you have not been invited yet, that link will tell you so rather than let you sign up.
Signing in sends a link or a numeric code to your email address. If neither arrives, check your spam folder first, then write to us and we will look at it from our side.
Curious before you have an invitation? demo.meridianself.com is open to anyone. Everything in it belongs to a made-up person, not to a real one.
Connecting your data
Meridian works perfectly well with nothing connected at all: your own reflections are the highest-signal thing it has. Body data is context, not a verdict.
When you do want to connect something, there are two routes today:
- Oura and WHOOP connect directly. Open Profile in the app, find the source, and tap Connect. You will be sent to their site to approve it, then returned to Meridian.
- Everything else that writes to Apple Health reaches Meridian through an iPhone shortcut: Apple Watch, Garmin, Coros, Amazfit and others. The setup guide walks through it in about two minutes.
Direct connections to Garmin, Coros and Strava are not available at the moment. If you wear one of those, the Apple Health route above is the one that works, and it is the route we recommend.
When a sync stops
Silence means it is working. Meridian only speaks up when something breaks.
If your days stop appearing, work through this in order:
- Open Profile and look at the source row. If it offers Connect rather than showing Connected, the link was dropped at the other end and reconnecting fixes it.
- Check the data actually exists at the source. Meridian can only see what your device gave Apple Health, or what Oura and WHOOP have finished processing.
- For the Apple Health shortcut, the troubleshooting section of the setup guide covers the handful of iOS permission messages that stop it.
- Still nothing? Email us. We can see whether your account received anything and when, and we can backfill a gap for you.
Your data, and taking it back
Everything below lives in Profile, in the app.
Export
Export my data gives you a file containing what Meridian holds for you. It is yours; you do not need a reason and you do not need to ask.
Disconnecting a source
Disconnecting now lives in the app: open Profile → Data sources and tap Disconnect next to the connected source. That stops new data immediately and deletes the stored connection at our end; the days already synced stay in your history. Revoking Meridian's access in your Oura or WHOOP account settings works too, if you prefer to do it from their side. To stop the Apple Health route, delete the shortcut automation on your iPhone.
Deleting everything
Delete my account removes your account and everything saved to it: check-ins, notes, body data, connected sources. It applies everywhere, not just on the device you are holding, and it cannot be undone.
What Meridian does with your data, in legal detail, is in the Privacy Policy. The short version: it is not sold, not advertised against, and not shown to anyone else.
One thing Meridian is not
Meridian is not a medical device. It notices patterns and reflects them back to you; it does not diagnose, treat, or tell you what is wrong. Patterns are written as tendencies because that is what they are. If something about your health worries you, please talk to a doctor rather than to us.
